Terms of Service

Welcome to BesTest. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the BesTest application ("App") provided by BT Studio ("we", "us", or "our"). By installing, accessing, or using BesTest, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing BesTest from the Atlassian Marketplace or using our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using BesTest on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

BesTest is a test management application for Atlassian Jira that provides:

  • Requirements management with test coverage tracking
  • Test case creation, organization, and review workflows
  • Test cycle execution and result tracking
  • Reporting and analytics dashboards
  • Jira dashboard gadgets for testing visibility

BesTest is built on Atlassian Forge and operates within your Jira Cloud instance.

3. Account and Access

Access to BesTest is managed through your Atlassian account. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your Atlassian account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account within BesTest
  • Ensuring that your use of BesTest complies with your organization's policies
  • Notifying us promptly of any unauthorized use of BesTest through your account

4. Pricing and Payment

BesTest offers a free tier for teams of up to 10 users. Paid plans are billed through the Atlassian Marketplace. Pricing details, including per-user rates and plan features, are available on our Atlassian Marketplace listing. Atlassian's Marketplace Terms of Use govern the billing and payment process.

5. Your Data

You retain ownership of all data you create within BesTest, including requirements, test cases, test cycles, and execution results. We do not claim ownership of your content. Our use of your data is limited to providing and improving the BesTest service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use BesTest for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the App
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its related systems
  • Use the App to store or transmit malicious code
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the App without our written consent

7. Intellectual Property

BesTest and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by BT Studio and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. The BesTest name, logo, and all related names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of BT Studio.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability of BesTest but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The App's availability depends on Atlassian's Forge platform and Jira Cloud infrastructure. We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability, and will provide advance notice when possible.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BT Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the App.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

BesTest is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free or that defects will be corrected.

11. Termination

You may stop using BesTest at any time by uninstalling the App from your Jira instance through the Atlassian Marketplace. We may suspend or terminate your access to BesTest if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the service, with reasonable notice when possible.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes through our website or the Atlassian Marketplace listing. Your continued use of BesTest after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which BT Studio is registered, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
